Rita Davenport, CSP, CPAE -
As a seminar
leader, keynote speaker, humorist, and author, she is a nationally
recognized expert in the principles of success, time management
methods, creative thinking, and building self-esteem and confidence.
Her careers range from social work and teaching, to broadcasting and
writing. She produced and hosted her own award-winning television show
in Phoenix, Arizona, for 15 years, and was viewed in over 32 million
homes on her cable television show "Success Strategies."
Rita has written five
best-selling books—including Excellence in Performance,
Professionals at Their Best, and her most recent book, Making
Time, Making Money—with combined sales of two million copies. She
has appeared on over 200 radio and television shows, including ABC's
"Good Morning America," as well as with Regis Philbin and Sally Jesse
Raphael.
A native of Nashville, Rita is a
graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and has done graduate
work at Florida State and Arizona State universities and taught at
both high school and college levels. She has presented over 1000
seminars nationwide and has been retained as a management consultant
to Fortune 500 companies.
She is a charter member of the
National Speakers Association and holds the designation of Certified
Speaking Professional (CSP) and has received the coveted Council of
Peers Award for Excellence (CPAE).
