Want a one-of -a-kind mentalist show
by a TV anchorman and investigative reporter? Very entertaining and
bedazzling, too! Ward Lucas is a top-notch investigative reporter and
anchorman for Channel 9 in
Denver. Ward also talks about
a different kind of media — he is an acknowledged expert in Gypsy and
Psychic scams, and has been sought as a consultant to law enforcement
agencies. Ward Lucas captivates the audience. He demonstrates his
expert ability in mind control and psychic phenomenon, astonishing
participants! He combines humor, personality and showmanship to
totally wow a crowd. Ward calls himself a mentalist and defines it as
an artist who duplicates so-called psychic phenomena, using entirely
natural tools such as low-level hypnosis and body language. He says
that his stage magic illustrates the point that subtle clues of body
language and spoken language can be picked up to successfully perform
seemingly amazing mental and physical feats. He may use a willow stick
divining rod to “find” a dollar bill stuffed into an envelope. He may
divine a Jack of Spades and a Nine of Hearts in classic stage style.
And he may juxtapose two volunteers from the audience who draw
amazingly similar drawings, illustrating the sending and reception of
ESP signals.
