Alan Parisse
is an authority on the
impact of cycles and change on the way we manage, lead and
communicate. No armchair theorist, his insights come from 25 years of
front line experience in one of the fastest changing businesses of
all, investments.
More than a motivator,
Alan is a "thought-provoker" who challenges audiences to think
creatively about the changes around them and take appropriate action.
Currently the managing
partner of the firm that bears his name, Alan served as a senior
executive for Oppenheimer and other national investment firms. In
those positions he was instrumental in developing, executing and
marketing major investment banking Strategies.
While Alan’s investment
banking experience has made him comfortable dealing at the highest
levels, he relates well with people from all areas of an organization.
That's because he has been there. Alan started working at the age of
ten, was managing restaurants with 150 employees at 18, and has been a
truck driver, day laborer, real estate broker and even a "sanitation
engineer." His varied life experience may be one reason audiences warm
to him so quickly.
Alan has been a guest
lecturer at some of the nation's most prestigious business schools,
including Stanford and Wharton. He holds a B.S. from the University of
Buffalo, an M.B.A. from the University of Arizona and has been
designated a Certified Speaking
Professional.
Alan's articles have
appeared in numerous publications, and his ideas have been quoted in
the Wall Street Journal, Business Week and Barrons. The
author of four technical financial books and several audiocassette
programs, he is currently writing a book on change.
Alan's unique
perspective, warmth and wit cut to the heart of many issues facing
businesspeople, professionals and employees today. From the moment he
jokingly places his 5'4" frame on the trademark box from which he
speaks, Alan's audiences feel they are getting advice from a trusted
friend.
